The final countdown to the Sports Tech Research & Innovation Summit has officially begun! ⏳🤩 Here's an overview of everything that could help you make the most out of the event: 

🥂Join our informal pre-Summit drink

Are you already in Ghent on Wednesday evening, 18 September? Then join us for a drink to kick off the 2-day event! We're gathering in the city center (location will be communicated soon), at 8 PM local time.

Please confirm your attendance in advance through the registration form so we can get an estimate of the number of participants!

🪑 Participate in a Roundtable discussion

What is a roundtable discussion? During these pre-planned closed-door meetings, limited participants discuss new project ideas, innovation partnerships or the like. They take place during lunch time.

Reply to this mail if you want to take part in a discussion.

💬 Start networking on Conversation Starter

As you can see in the program, we have chosen to place a strong emphasis on group interaction. We've also foreseen enough room for 1-on-1 interactions.

This is where Conversation Starter comes in: it is a tool that helps facilitate these types of meetings. You should have received an invitation email to this tool by now, please let us know if that is not the case. We strongly encourage you to create your profile and to start sending invitations for meetings as the meeting planner is now open! You can indicate in the tool when you're available (or not).

🎪 The venue

The Summit takes place at the Wintercircus: Lammerstraat 13, 9000 Ghent. Please note that there are multiple entrances to the Wintercircus. We will be using the main entrance at the Lammerstraat. You can find detailed directions to the event venue on our travel page, as well as various other info on accomodation and transportation. 

Breakfast and lunch are served during the corresponding break times (as stated in the program). Water and coffee or tea will be available all day long. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know asap here so we can notify the catering service.
