After months of working and collaborating to shape our very first Sports Tech Research & Innovation Summit, the event is finally in sight! Only 4 more weeks and we’ll be welcoming you in our hometown, Ghent.

The program has taken its final form now and we could not be happier with such an interesting group of speakers and topics! Take a look at what the Summit has in store for you.

The event is a bit different compared to many other conferences or exhibitions. Why? We focus on translational aspects, university-industry collaborations, research to market activities, andneeds or challenges for science-driven innovation coming from the field. In that sense, it will create an opportunity to not only talk about what has happened in the past, but also to interact with others based on what could happen in the future. 

We ask all Summit attendees to register for the breakout sessions they want to follow. This way we can ensure that there is enough room for everyone to follow the sessions comfortably. The breakout sessions are 10-15 minute presentations followed by 20 minutes interaction, which you can register for through this registration form. To be able to see and fill out the form you need to be logged in with your STRN account. We also want to remind you that your invoice needs to be paid prior to the start of the event.

In order to facilitate valuable interactions between all the people present, we activated a Conversation Starter page for which you should have received an email (let us know if that is not the case).

One more thing: don’t wait too long to book your stay in Ghent if you haven’t done so already! We compiled a list of hotels that are located in the city center (and are about 15 min of walking from the venue).
