Hi ##firstname##, here's another STRN update!

Kristof here. I wanted to personally let you know how we're seeing things regarding our upcoming events.

First the bad news: this year, there won't be a STRN Summit. The short answer but also main reason for this: we want to keep quality over quantity. 

That said, there's plenty of good news:

1/ we're planning a meetup in Paris early July (2023)

2/ we're offering an online matchmaking event in September using the Conversation Starter tool, so you can connect on the topics of interest (without traveling)

3/ we're preparing for another Ghent based Summit in 2024! We'll inform you asap about the exact date (however keep mid-Sept in mind, just as last year).

🛬 As many people will be in Paris for the ECSS conference in a few weeks (4-7 July), we plan to have an informal meetup on Thursday the 6th of July as from 8pm. The event is open for all members and non-members interested in joining.

With this 2nd Meet & Greet event, the growing pool of STRN Members will get to know each other even better during short 1 on 1 conversations. 

We know from our previous activities that not only new friends can be made through these type of chats, but also real collaborations and business deals can be the result of them. 

So whether you're an R&D manager, a researcher, a sports practitioner, or a (PhD) student interested in sports and health tech, you'll be able to have short conversations with interesting people to expand your network (based on common interests and needs).
